This presentation addresses a variety of ways teachers can use TED Talks in the classroom: to spark discussion and persuasive writing assignments, to serve as models for public speaking, and to initiate independent, student-centered research projects. Examples of student work will be shared, including video clips of 8th grade students delivering their own TED Talks.
